Use

This product is a complete food intended for adult parrots of the subfamily

Loriinae (lories and lorikeets). It contains highly digestible ingredients,

specific to the Loriinae diet to achieve the maximum quality and palatability.

We recommend providing Lory Gel and Lory Nectar simultaneously. In

conjunction, both products are able to cover properly the particular nutritional

needs of different lory species in every moment, regulating themselves the

ingest of each product.

Directions for use

It is advisable to provide this Lory Gel simultaneously with Lory Nectar in

different feeders. These products will be preferably supplied in dry form, but

it can be provided mixed with water until a creamy texture.

It is important to clean out the feeders daily. In warm environments, the

product should be renewed more than once a day if it is diluted with water.

We recommend supplementing the diet with fresh fruit daily.

No vitamin or mineral supplements should be given to parrots whose basic

diet is Lory Gel and Lory Nectar.

Daily intake

Bird consumption varies between 7-10g of dried gel and nectar per 100g of

body weight.

Composition

Fructose, cereal grains, products and by-products of oil seeds and fruits,

vegetable oils, pollen, products and by-products of cereal grains, legume

seeds, minerals, products and by-products of tubers and roots, dried

hibiscus flower, dried whole egg, dried brewer"s yeast, inulin (0,05%)

Additives

Mixture of flavouring compounds (contains Yucca schidigera extract

0,015%); Rosmarinus officinalis extract; Tagetes erecta extract / Sepiolite /

Tocopherol-rich extracts of natural origin, palmitoyl-6-ascorbic acid /

Compounds of trace elements (ferrous chelate, cupric chelate, manganese

chelate, zinc chelate; calcium iodate anhydrous and hydroxy-analogue of

selenomethionine) / Vitamins, pro-vitamins and chemically well-defined

substances having similar effects (A, D3, E, C, K, B1, B2, B6, B12,

Pantothenic acid, Niacin, Folic acid, Biotin, Choline chloride, B-carotene,

Betaine anhydrous)

Analytical constituents

Moisture 7,0%, Crude protein 17,0%, Crude oils and fats 8,0%, Crude

cellulose 3,4%, Crude ash 3,9%
